Logged into my account everything was fine, published an update and EVERYTHING all my events and work are gone.

Oh, I’m so sorry that this happened! But let’s try and check a few things 
- Was the widget installed anywhere? If so, please send me a link to the page with it.
- If it wasn’t, please copy a link to the widget editor of this Event Calendar.
As soon as I get the info, I’ll check what can be done here

I have a similar problem. An event from yesterday is no longer searchable in my events. I wanted to reschedule it for a future date. I have 2 sites and the event has disappeared from both calendars.

I wanted to let you know that recently we moved all the past events to the separate section in the Events tab:
So no worries – they didn’t disappear, just changed the location 
You’re free to reschedule them right from the Past Events tab
