I am writing to request an enhancement to the Form Builder tool, specifically the Date Field component. Currently, the available year options in the Date Field are limited up to 2033. For our business needs, we require the ability to select years beyond this range.
Could you please extend the year options in the Date Field to include at least up to the year 2050 at least? This extension would greatly benefit our operations and planning.

I would like to emphasize the importance of approving the request to update to your date field options as soon as possible. Our team is actively using Elfsight widgets to input client data on our website, and with our growing client base, we have many clients whose ID validities extend beyond the current maximum option of 2033.
Accurate data entry is crucial for us, and the current limitation is starting to cause concerns. Our clients, who are entering their own information, will soon begin to raise complaints if this issue is not resolved promptly.

I completely understand your concerns and agree that this feature could be essential, especially in situations like yours. I am really sorry for the inconvenience this limitation may cause 
The thing is that we have a set roadmap for our upcoming implementations. Integrating new ideas there can be challenging, no matter how good they are, as we have to balance their popularity with how easy they are to implement.
If more people support your idea, it might be prioritized sooner, but, unfortunately, we can’t make any promises for now.

This feature is needed ASAP please otherwise the widget is useless. We collect our clients’ passport expiry details so many now extend to 2034. What shall we tell the clients?

I do understand your frustration and really sorry about this limitation. We agree that this would be a really helpful addition. However, as I’ve mentioned above, we have a set roadmap, and it’s really hard to include new ideas there right away.
Currently, we have many requests with the higher priority and our devs are focused on them at the moment. You can look through them here.
If this idea gets more votes, we might consider it in the future updates, but still we can’t give any predictions. I’ll keep you informed about any changes here
