I am really sorry, but it’s hard to share timeline for this app now. The thing is that we have a bunch of requests with the higher priority and our devs are working on them.
As soon as we receive any news about this request, we’ll update you here right away
@Donald_Hill if only developers could run on caffeine and code alone, right? But we believe they’ve well earned their sleep to keep their creativity at its best
Right now we don’t have such an app in the catalog, but this idea is already on the Wishlist. I’ve moved your comment to the related thread, where we’ll keep you in the loop
I would like to add tables to my squarespace website. For example a time schedule program for an event. with a time in a smaller column left and the explanation in a bigger column at right.
I’m a little surprised a table widget doesn’t exist, it would be such an incredibly useful feature. I’m sure you’ve thought of this, but if you do build one, please make items within the table can support hyperlinks. Thanks.
We’d also love to have a Table app in our catalog, but we still have requests with the higher priority level and our devs focused on them now. For example, currently we’re working on the Comments and Accessibility widgets
Let’s hope the devs we’ll be able to consider this idea too, and we’ll make sure to update you in case of any progress
And yes, the idea of the hyperlinks support sounds great, and we’ll try to include it to the widget!
I agree that a table widget would be great. Especially if it’s able to be responsive for desktop and mobile display. Squarespace does not have a table block, so I would absolutely use this.
We already have a request for the Table widget and I’ve merged your comment with the related thread. In the meantime, could you please describe what should happen once the user picks the needed quantity?
This info would help us understand your use case better
I would like to be able to create a table of data that viewers can sort by category just like the table Elfsight is using for this wishlist page. It would be excellent if it could also be searchable. I found an example here.
This would allow me to present resources folks could sort by service, location, and price. They could also then search for anything specific.
When you develop this app, we will already be hiring another provider. The need is ASAP, and if you don’t see that, you will lose customers, and we will move to another service.
I completely understand your urgency, and I’m really sorry the widget you need isn’t available yet.
You see, we prioritize requests based on their complexity and the number of votes they get. While there were some other requests that took higher priority before, we see the strong interest from the Community in this app now.
I’ve passed your feedback along to the dev team, and hopefully, it’ll be considered in one of the future updates. We’ll keep you posted and really appreciate your patience
