I often need a calendar that shows a particular week or month of the year by default, instead of the current week or current month. If I have a week-long event, that’s only from June 1 to June 8, I can’t have a blank calendar be shown when someone visits the site in May. Just need a simple control for the month view that offers to specify default month & Year on loading, then on Week view (which is what I really need now), a control that specifies default week (1-52) and Year.
