We’ve made a few changes across the Social Widgets to make them easier and more convenient to work with.
Here’s what we’ve added and improved ![]()
Easier post management
All posts from your connected sources are now available directly in the configurator. So if there’s a post you don’t want to show, you can find it and hide it right there.
Working with a large feed? We’ve also added search and filters, so you don’t have to scroll through hundreds of posts to find the one you’re looking for:
A few important things to know:
-
Posts from Vimeo and Facebook aren’t available in moderation just yet.
-
If a post is hidden by a filter, you can’t change its visibility manually. Filters take priority over manual visibility, just like in Reviews.
-
Manually hiding or showing a post no longer requires you to publish the widget. The change is reflected on your website automatically.
-
When you copy a widget, its sources stay connected. For example, if Widget A uses an Instagram source and you copy it to create Widget B, both widgets will use the same source. So manually hiding or showing a post in one will affect the other as well.
Instagram Feed changes
A few things have changed specifically for Instagram Feed;
-
Video and Reels content types are now combined into one Reels option.
-
The issue with post text formatting has been addressed
