Show/Hide results and separate link for results

If we want to just show the results it would be great to have a separate link to open a website in order to display them.

great question. I think this should be configurable where the person creating the poll can choose to show results or not. In our case, we may want to do a “reveal” while live.

Could you please specify what you mean under “reveal” while live option?

As for the hiding results in the settings, how would you know the results in this case? Do you want to hide them only on the website and check the poll results in the widget’s configurator?

As a live streamer, I can display the web page with the results into my stream this way, and have it updating constantly throughout the conversation. This is what I mean by “reveal.”

The way I’d see this working is the following:

  • The admin would create a poll with a question.
  • I, as the admin, can choose to show the responder the results of the poll or not. If I choose not to show the results I should be able show a custom message telling folks where and when to check back to see the outcome. If I choose to show the results, it should just refresh to the results tab.
  • I, as the admin, would have access to a separate link that shows the results of the poll. This link would basically be the “results” tab in the admin panel, but just as a stand alone webpage.
  • Also, on the results page, I should be able to add a custom message and custom link if I want people to keep voting.
