Currently, it’s possible to change the color of the event description via the Code Editor or with the CSS code. However, it would be much more convenient to have a separate setting for this

Great news — the feature is already live
You can find it in the Event section on the Theme tab (Сustomize Theme → Event → Description Text Color):
The color of the description in the popup is controlled with the Text Color option in the Popup section:
