I’d like to request the addition of an alt text feature to enhance the experience for users who rely on screen readers or other assistive technologies.
Alt text is essential for ensuring that images and visual elements are accessible to all users, particularly those who are blind or visually impaired. Implementing this feature would align with best practices in inclusive design and broaden the reach of your platform to a more diverse audience.
I’d love to hear if this feature is already under consideration or if there are plans to incorporate it in future updates!
Hey, that’s great! I’m new to using the blog widget. Where can I change/edit the alt text? I don’t see the typical WYSIWYG editor-type options like a “code view” where I can directly edit ALT text, or a place to click on the photo to add my own text?
The post title is used as image alt text by default, and, unfortunately, there is no way to change it now.
I agree that it would be awesome to have this option right in the settings. I’ve moved this topic back to the Wishlist and if more users upvote it, we’ll try to consider this opportunity in the future
