At the moment, you can scroll the page the fullscreen search is sat above. this is hit-and-miss in most cases, but it is still an oversight.
— is there any way for us to amend or edit the code ourselves? I can edit the CSS easily enough, but there are aspects of the widget that are easily fixed but I can’t access.

As for amending the code, I’m not sure that this is something we can deliver for the time being, but probably something will be changed in this regard in the future
