Playback Speed in audio Player

I wanted to embed audio player for my blog. One thing which my readers request a lot is playback speed in audio player. Player could have 1x, 1.25x, 1.5x.. palyback speeds.

Yes!!!
In our industry listening to podcasts for continuing education, it is commonplace for us to hit 2x speed when there is a much slower speaker. PLEASE ADD THIS! I would have 3 other business owners subscribe to this service just for this feature alone. No other audio player offers it on the web… yet.

Thank you Max!
I have 1000 business owners in my network that could leverage a feature like this. May lead to an increased subscription for 4 of the leads, myself included. Keep us posted.

This idea was first suggested in 2020… Any update here? This would seriously improve UX for my audio recorded course lessons and save people time.

Thank you for your comment, @KJ_Harlow!

I’m afraid we don’t have any info about this feature, I’m very sorry :pensive:

You see, we now have to prioritize based on the popularity of a request and the complexity involved, meaning the most popular ones get considered first.

But we’ll be happy to post an update here once we have any news

Friends, this request is now marked as ‘Planned’, which means we’re currently exploring possible development options, so it’s on our radar :muscle:t2:

Please note that we can’t provide any specifics at this stage, as we’re still in the process of estimating potential solutions. However, let’s hope we’ll see it in the ‘In Progress’ status during Q2!
