it would be great if the podcast player had a search field so people could find an episode quickly.

I am a developer who uses this (and will continue to do so) for multiple clients. A search feature is DESPERATELY NEEDED. I may have to look for alternatives if this is not soon resolved unfortunately.
Any update on this? Or anyone have any other suggestions for a tool that can utilize search?

I am really sorry to say, but we haven’t got any news for now.
The thing is that we consider ideas based on their complexity and number of votes. At the moment, there are a lot of requests with the higher priority and our devs are focused on them.
If this idea gets more votes, it might be prioritized sooner, but it’s still hard to give any predictions now.
We’ll update you in case of any progress here
