The number of widgets you can use is limited by your subscription.
It would be nice if you could create an additional widget that you could use ONLY for testing purposes.
This is useful for those who want to customize a lot but have already used up the maximum number of widgets.
Since every individual change to the widget is saved immediately, there’s really no going back. You have to be very careful about what you do. This wouldn’t matter for a test widget at first.

In order to test injected JS code, it must also have an installation code. But perhaps you could implement some kind of watermark or other obstacle for this test widget that would make productive use pointless. :blush:
