I’ve added the HTML code to a website but the widget is not showing at the front. I’ve tried with another WordPress website and here it worked fine.

Hi there and welcome to the Community @Jeanine_Tuinstra
It seems that you’ve added the platform script (1-st line of the installation code) twice:
Could you please adjust the code and let me know if the widget appeared?
Hello Max,
Thank you for your response! I’ve checked your remark, but I literally copied the code from elfsight and pasted it in a custom HTML block on my WordPress website (see images attached below). But when I update, this is what I see: Buy me a coffee – Klaire Todd
Hi there
I’ve talked to the devs and the issue occurs because Wordpress limits the capability to include scripts in HTML blocks.
If you have a paid WP plan, you can add the platform script (1-st line of the installation code) to the theme files and then add the 2-nd line of the installation code to the needed pages.
If you have free WP plan, it should be changed right in the website’s code.
In case you’re facing difficulties with it, please let me know. Our devs will be happy to install the widget for you
