It’s a pain in the butt to type in the hex code every time.

Do you mean that when you set the custom color in your widget, it’s not saved after publishing changes? Or you’d like to save the hex code and apply it to all Countdown Timer widgets that may be created in the future?
I’d like to save the hex codes for future use.
