It would be great if we had the option to open the info window by default on mobile devices.

It appears that the feature to automatically display the “Location” above the marker is only visable on desktop. I opened 407584 to inquire by this feature wasn’t visable on mobile and was told it’s designed to function hidden on mobile.
I think there would be value in giving to option to show/hide it on mobile. For our business, having a link to Google Maps is vaulable for customers needing to get directions on their phone.
No customer will know to click the icon to see results!

Yeah, I absolutely understand your point, it would be much more obvious to display the info window on mobile devices as well. We’ll try our best to think about it in the future updates
