As currently configured all questions/inputs for the Calculator are visible. I’d like to have an option for how to display the questions/inputs. The inputs could be all at once or only be visible only one at a time. In the one at a time scenario Users would provide 1 input then the next then the next and so on.
With all inputs visible at once, they may see items they don’t want to answer. However, if we only show one at a time and the last item is the one in question they may be more compelled to answer it since they’ve already invested time.
If the option one at a time is selected, it would also display something like Input 1 of 7 or 2 of 7 as they make progress with entering their inputs.
If I understood you correctly, you’d like to have additional fields (short text, email, phone number, etc) and a multistep form feature like in our Form Builder app:
We see that it would be just an amazing addition and we’ll try our best to consider this opportunity in the future. All the updates will be posted here
The calculator could use this slider and step process, which will definitely improve the success conversion for more complex calculations as the questions are presented sequentially and makes the calculator more clear and user friendly
Presenting users with multiple questions at once requires a high level of motivation and often leads to drop-off. In contrast, showing just one question at a time has been proven to boost conversions by an average of 40% – a truly stunning improvement.
Here’s my suggestion:
Please consider adding the option to insert dividers between elements — essentially allowing us to break the form into clear steps. This would guide the user’s focus and create a more intuitive flow, reducing overwhelm. Like this:
I’ve included a video below to illustrate even better what I mean:
In the example, you’ll also notice that once a user makes a selection, the form automatically progresses to the next step. This kind of seamless transition keeps users engaged and encourages them to complete the process — especially when working with multi-step forms.
With your current system already performing so well (In the end showing calculation results and capturing client contact details), this addition would push it over the edge – into a true goldmine for quality lead generation.
