Hello Alma,

Thanks a lot for sharing your idea!

We see how useful this option might be for our users, so we’ll try our best to consider it for the widget future updates.

And if you come up with more detailed thoughts, please don’t hesitate to write them in the comments here

Thank you!

Hi There,

We have multiple Agents that are available at different times of the day. Although your service is much more clean and accessible than the competitors, they do offer that service and could be a reason to change back to them. Would love this feature to be implemented

Kind Regards

Graeme

Hello @Donna_Moore

I totally share your opinion that the opportunity to add multiple agents would be beneficial for many users.

We already have such a request in the Wishlist, and I’ve moved your comment there too. All the updates will be posted in this thread.

Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and welcome to the Community

Supporting that request! I am just wondering how it would be implemented. With a previous specialised chat service company for our website chat, the chat would automatically revert to the person that picked up first, and then automatically add the correct agent profile in the header. If such a thing is possible, that would make this app a serious contender against the specialised services!

Hi @Ingrid_van_Waard

A huge thank you for sharing your feedback with us!

I am afraid, it’s hard to say how exactly this feature will work, as we haven’t considered it yet. However, your feedback is highly appreciated and we’ll try to consider this scenario when working on this feature.

All the updates will be posted here :slightly_smiling_face:

Friends, this request is now marked as ā€˜Planned’, which means we’re currently exploring possible development options, so it’s on our radar :muscle:t2:

Please note that we can’t provide any specifics at this stage, as we’re still in the process of estimating potential solutions. Let’s hope we’ll see it in the ā€œIn Progressā€ status, though!

Dear friends,

We’re currently exploring this idea and would love your input to help us better understand your expectations for this functionality.

Could you kindly provide more details on:

  • What’s your use case for adding the multiple agents to the widget
  • What issues do you face due to the absence of the multiple agents option?

Thanks in advance for your time! Your input is crucial in helping us build the right functionality :slightly_smiling_face:

Hi @Max et al.

While I don’t currently use this widget or any similar chat widgets, only the AI chat bot, I’d be interested to know how those who want this feature would actually want it work, and how they would then make use of it?

Based on my quick check of the widget, it seems to allow for connecting various popular messengers and social media platforms like WhatsApp, Telegram, Instagram, etc..

Connecting the various messengers and social media platforms allows site visitors to choose which one they prefer to use to make contact. And, when they choose one, the conversation takes place within that messenger or social media platform. Correct?

Also, would the custom connection option allow for connecting to an AI chat bot?

  • What’s your use case for adding the multiple agents to the widget?

    • My dream use case would be connecting Elfsight’s AI chat bot to all the available messenger/social media chat options that a business/professional/individual uses. Then, have the AI chat bot handle the conversion until it’s necessary to hand off to a designated human agent that is available.
  • What issues do you face due to the absence of the multiple agents option?

    • Within my dream use case, the issue would be that the AI chat bot would not be able to route conversations to designated human agent that are available.

I’m really looking forward to see what Elfsight’s plans for the this feature produces. Hopefully, it’s along the lines of my dream use case, or better yet, way beyond my dream

Kind regards,

Hey there, @iammasterweb :waving_hand:

Thanks a lot for your comment!

Currently there is no way to connect the All-in-One Chat widget to the AI Chatbot. However, the AI Chatbot widget lets you add buttons with the links to your social channels (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.) You can find more info about this feature in this post - AI Chatbot: Let users take specific actions right in the chat and contact human! šŸ”„.

As for adding a real human agent to the conversion, this is a truly great idea, but at the same time really complex for implemention. I see you’ve already found and upvoted this Wishlist idea.

If anything changes, we’ll update you in that thread :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks @Max

I rechecked the ā€œAction Buttonsā€ feature, and vaguely recall seeing it previously. It’s a good feature, but I think I ignored it because it’s not suitable for the use cases I’m creating for clients.

We love Elfsight so much, I like others, tend to push the feature request complexities of the widgets

And, now I’m really, really, really hoping :crossed_fingers:t5: the Devs starting working on a Quiz Widget. For me it will be very complementary to the Blog Widget, and just, if not more powerful.

Thanks as always.
