You need an option to clear the cache instead of having to wait 24 hours - it’s too long if you want a change to occur
Hi there, @Ryan_Lavender
Thank you for the feedback!
We agree that it would be awesome to reduce the cache time/implement manual refresh, but due to some technical restriction we can’t do this right now.
Anyway, we’ll have this idea in mind and see what others think about it
You know that as a user - the only solution for me with this restriction is to DELETE my YouTube playlist and recreate it - so that my website is up to date when I need it to be (aka when I release a video)
I think I may have to find a new solution to displaying it if this is ongoing. I cannot wait 24 hours for a playlist to be updated when it’s an immediate thing - I advertise the new video - but it wont show on the website for 24 hours - do you see the problem?
It’s a major floor in the setup.
@Ryan_Lavender , I completely get your point and see the importance of sharing new videos in a timely manner for your case
Although we don’t have a way to shorten/remove the cache time at the moment, we absolutely see the value in this improvement. Hopefully, we’ll be able to overcome this hindrance in the future, and I’ll make sure to update you in case of any news
Thanks again for pointing us in this direction!
