Currently, the integration works the way that you set up slots in the widget and the bookings sync with Google. My schedule is highly variable, and I would prefer that I can set an appointment schedule in Google Calendar directly. For example, below are my appointment slots in Google Calendar. It’s dead easy in Google Calendar to make appointment calendars and set my availability each week - easily comparing against other appointments and meetings and time off. Ideally I was hoping my appointment availability would sync back to your interface, but it looks like it uses the availability set in your interface, then looks at my calendar to remove items if I’m busy.
Hi there, @user689
A huge thank you for posting your thoughts!
I totally get your idea and agree that it would enhance the Google Calendar integration. Let’s see if other users share this opinion too
I agree, I also think this would tie into the request I made for multiple employees. It’d allow the business to create the schedule for each person and clients can book based on the schedule of the selected person.
@user689 Just a btw, in the coming soon list or wish list you can see that an automator (Make, I think?) is currently being worked on for integration. While it isnt a direct connection like you want, a good work around would be to use Make as the connecting factor and update your schedule based on the changes you make in Google?
I guess it all comes down to how much accessibility the devs give to make and its capabilities…
@Max Maybe a good thing to include in the development of that integration, ensuring Make can listen for updates to google calendar and push the changes to your Appointment Scheduling… No better time to get it in than now
Hi there @KeyframeKreations
I guess it could be a nice idea for the devs, thank you for the feedback
Hi @user689! And what do you think about this workaround?
