Live & Real Time Knowledge Base

Instead of uploading files and using up all of our storage space, allow for dynamic loading of RSS, JSON, XML, etc.

Hi there, @John_Carson and welcome aboard

I like your idea, thanks for sharing! Let’s see what others think about this opportunity :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks Max! Hopefully others see the value in this. In addition to providing essentially unlimited storage, this would allow knowledge base to always be “live” which would be great for answering questions about things like today’s weather, upcoming events & happenings, news & current events. Combined with knowing the date we could ask: “What’s happening today in my hometown?”

Yeah, the dynamic update of the knowledge base would be a fantastic feature, absolutely agree with you.

Let’s hope this idea gets traction and devs will be able to consider it :slightly_smiling_face:

I was hoping this idea would get a bit more love. Perhaps I should have used terms Live & Real Time Knowledge Base in the Title instead of Remote & Dynamic.

Hmm, this might be the reason.

I’ve changed the title of the request. Let’s see if the new name brings us more votes :slightly_smiling_face:

rather than uploading a pdf everytime the team makes an update,
it would be nice if the Chat bot is connect to a linked google doc or sheet, that we can create for it, this will make it easier for the chat bot to always stay up to date on changes in our rules and regulations, as well as linking it to the website pages, so that it can find its information from the website as well if avaliable

Hello everyone,

I completely agree with the previous posts: being able to push live order-status updates into our chatbot is essential for keeping dynamically changing information accurate and up to date.

I wrote about this at the following link:

Our product portfolio is constantly changing and therefore manually updating the xml feed for AI chatbot is quite demanding. Our system daily generates a feed with all available products, including descriptions etcetera. I would like to add the feed through the URL to Elfsight (instead of txt upload) and would like Elfsight to daily (or so) import the feed data. So Elfsight can always be up to date.
