Issues with Weather widgets, Share links, Widgets installed via iframe [Fixing]

Dear friends,

We wish to extend our sincere apologies for the recent service interruption. Unfortunately, at the moment we have the following issues:

  • Weather widget is currently unavailable

  • Share links and widgets installed via iframe currently don’t work

  • The inability to sign up on this forum

We want to assure you that our devs are doing all their best to bring everything back as soon as possible.

We’ll keep you abreast of any changes here.

Thank you for your patience and understanding

When I click on the installation link for any of my widgets (Event Calendar, FAQ, and Form Builder), I am taken to a page that displays “Error 1101 Worker threw exception”. Perhaps this is related to the recent “service interruption” message displayed on this forum header, but I thought I’d mention it in case others are experiencing something similar.

Hello @Trevor_Hall and welcome to Community

Yes, you are absolutely right!

Unfortunately, due to technical issues, the widget Share Link is currently not functioning correctly. We realize the urgency of the situation and how it can impact our customers, and our top priority is to bring the widget functionality back up in the shortest possible time.

The development team is now working on a fix that should eliminate all errors. After the fix is ready, it will be automatically applied and the Share Link becomes active. You won’t have to do anything on your end.

We’ll keep you updated in your support ticket.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

@Max Thank you for the quick response and I’m glad to hear that it’s being actively worked on :+1:

Hello @Rethabile_Masilo

I deeply apologize for the interruption in our widget’s work!

Unfortunately, widgets installed with the use of Share Link are currently not functioning correctly. This is the reason why widgets are not displayed correctly within iframe, I’m terribly sorry. We realize the urgency of the situation and how it can impact our customers, and our top priority is to bring the widget functionality back up in the shortest possible time.

The dev team is now working on a fix that should eliminate all errors. After the fix is ready, it will be automatically applied and the Share Link becomes active. You won’t have to do anything on your end.

In case of urgency, you can try to reinstall our widgets with the help of the installation code. Here’s the article explaining where to find it - Where to get Elfsight widget installation code.

I’ve moved your request to the dedicated topic, where we’ll keep you abreast of any changes.

Thank you for your patience and understanding

Cheers…

A quick update on the whole situation:

Our widgets are down due to Cloudflare unexpectedly blocking them. This has affected the widgets installed via Share Link option

We are actively addressing this issue on a high priority basis and are doing our best to resolve it. Additionally, we are developing an alternative solution to restore widget functionality through the link.

We expect to have a resolution in place by tomorrow and will keep you updated on our progress.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Dear folks,

We’re happy to say that the issue is finally fixed! Now all the widgets installed via iframe or share links are working as expected. Weather widget performs correctly, too.

All the users of our new dashboard can sign up and log into this community forum again

Thank you so much for your patience and for sticking with us! It’s greatly appreciated, and I mean it :pray:t2:
