Image Upload Problem

I’m having trouble with uploading images in the photo gallery widget.

I understand that HEIC may not be an acceptable format, but when I try to batch upload JPGs and PNGs (4-50 photos), I am left with only a couple that successfully upload and the rest are showing the broken image icon.

Is there a problem on the back end that can be fixed? Or something different that I need to do?
