Hello all - I am new to Elfsight, new to this community, and have pretty limited experience with code other than the ability to copy/paste.
I have installed an image gallery widget on my Google Site. The page itself looks great. But when I click an image and it opens the gallery/lightbox, there is a ton of empty space above the image and it takes about 5 scrolls to get to see the image itself, which is too large. Then more blank space below, requiring several scrolls to see the filmstrip at the bottom.
I’d like it to appear as it does on the Elfsight preview. Is this a limitation of hosting my site on Google Sites and getting what I’m paying for? Or is there something I can edit to fix this issue?
I was able to solve the issue with the blank space by reducing my image size to no larger than 1200px. Thank you for this suggestion! With 2 rows of images, it looked very clean. With 3, though, Google sites inserted a scroll bar which I can live with but is not ideal. Is there any way to get rid of this? The widget is now live on my home page at deborahwaltman.com Thanks!
