How do the events fall based on dates?

Could you help me better understand how overlapping/same-day events, especially with events that have a date range, appear on the events calendar?

I have (4) events coming up on June 6, and (2) events that have a date range of June 6-7. Why are the events that range June 6-7 getting placed like this on the list? I would rather have all June 6 events grouped together at the top. Is there any way to have some more control here? TIA!

Hi @pammy51788 :waving_hand:

The event order depends on their start date and time. If multiple events share the same start date and time, they appear in the order they were added to the widget.

Just to confirm, is this the order you’d like to set?

Thank you for the explanation, Max. I’m trying to bump the June 6 Virtual CEU Level I: IASTM Fundamentals up to precede the (2) courses that are set to ‘all day’ (no start/end times) that span June 6-7. That way, at least it’s with the other June 6 course dates and it’s not a ‘widow’ that appears after the June 6-7 courses.

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to place this event higher.

The thing is that the start time for All Day events is 00:00, while the start time for the June 6 Virtual CEU Level I: IASTM Fundamentals is 11:45 a.m.

Let me know if this explains things or if you have any questions left :slightly_smiling_face:

All good, thank you for your help!

It’s my pleasure
