Right click in Open Image in gallery select the image in the left bar

I am afraid I didn’t quite get your idea. Could you please share a screenshot of the “Open Image in Gallery button” you’ve mentioned?

when you select / Open an image from the main gallery it automatically shows the photos in the left dropdown so that we can edit it

Another way would be to add the position number of the photo in the left dropdown
