We’ve improved how our Google Maps app handles failed route building ![]()
Sometimes, route building might fail due to browser restrictions, privacy settings, or if the route includes air travel, which our API doesn’t support.
Previously, when a route couldn’t be built, nothing happened. Now, as a fallback, the widget will automatically redirect users to Google Maps.
This ensures that even if the widget can’t create a route, users can still view it directly on Google Maps ![]()
