Geocode was not successful

  • Issue description:
    Hi,

I’m using the Google Maps app. When entering an address of any kind I get the error “Geocode was not successful for the following reason: REQUEST_DENIED”. What can I do to fix this? My first thought was that there’s something wrong with my API key, but I can only view this screen after entering my API key so it must’ve been approved.

I’ve checked your widget and see the following error in your console - This API project is not authorized to use this API:

It means that you didn’t enable the Geocoding API in your Google API settings.

Please follow this link, you’ll find the way how to enable it - How to get Google API Key for Google Maps widget.

Could you please check it and let me know if it helped?
