It would be great to have Geo Location, which is also called GeoIP. So when someone enters the site where the map is, it asks if it may use their current location and if they say yes it shows them the nearest store

Yes I agree, also it will be really helpful if the default preview of the mapshow the near city view of all the stores, for example for a nation wide ecom website having their retailers locally, a customer jumps on webpage, with location somewhere in Sydney, the map should by default show sydnew view for store locator.
This feature will be a realistic and very hellpul for some one who serve nation wide/internationally.

I couldn’t agree more that it would be a fantastic addition. We will try to think this opportunity over and hopefully, we’ll be able to implement it in one of the future updates.
