We would like the app to have an option to generate AI-powered alt text for images.

Do I get it right that the AI Generator should add missing alt texts to the images to improve accessibility of your website? So, it would be an app just for internal users and your website visitors wouldn’t interact with it anyhow, am I correct?

Not sure I understand your question right. I would prefer it work similar to the logic on other widgets such as accessibly app or userway. It would still be okay for us if this module makes alt texts on the site itself or if the alt texts are coming through just the widget overlay without any changes to the site.

Are you looking to add this as an extra mode alongside the existing options?
If so, when users select this mode, the AI will generate alt texts that appear when they hover over images and can be accessed via keyboard navigation.
Alternatively, do you want to use it just for yourself? In that case, you’ll generate the alt texts, and users will see them when navigating your site, but they won’t be able to trigger AI generation themselves.

thanks. yes, I would like it to be used just by the site admin for example who will generate the alt texts. Also, it will be more efficient on the number of AI credits that are consumed per site

I am sorry to say, but we won’t be able to release this feature, since it goes beyond our general widget concept and concept of the Accessibility widget itself.
You see, our Accessibility widget provides necessary tools for easier website navigation and analyze accessibility issues, but not solve them. Also, our widgets are usually installed on websites and imply user interaction with them and the feature you need is just for the internal use.
