Enable "Align Cards by Height" Option for Multi-Row Carousel Layouts

Dear Elfsight Support Team,

I am writing to request an enhancement to the Carousel widget configuration options.

Currently, the “Align Cards by Height” feature is only available when the Carousel Layout is set to a single row. However, I believe this option would be extremely valuable when using multiple rows in the carousel.

:magnifying_glass_tilted_left: Current Behavior:

  • “Align Cards by Height” option is disabled for multi-row carousel layouts

  • Users are forced to manually adjust card heights or accept inconsistent card alignments

:bullseye: Requested Enhancement:

  • Enable the “Align Cards by Height” option for carousel layouts with multiple rows

  • Allow users to maintain consistent card heights across all rows

:light_bulb: Use Case Scenario:

Imagine a reviews widget with:

  • 2 or 3 rows of review cards

  • Varying content lengths in different cards

  • Desire for a uniform, professional appearance

:rocket: Proposed Solution:

  • Extend the “Align Cards by Height” functionality to multi-row layouts

  • Implement height alignment logic similar to single-row layouts

  • Add a toggle/checkbox in the widget configuration

:wrench: Technical Considerations:

  • Ensure performance is not significantly impacted

  • Provide an option to disable auto-alignment if needed

  • Maintain existing single-row functionality

Benefits:

  • Improved visual consistency

  • Enhanced user experience

  • More flexible design options
