Apple Keynote is NOT PowerPoint. We have an App to embed ppt files, I’d like one to embed .key files please

I do see your point, and I’m very sorry that .key files are not supported in our File Embed app. We will try to think this opportunity over and hopefully, we’ll be able to implement it in one of the future updates.
