Display AI Language Model in the settings

Howdy,

The more I “play around” with Elfsight’s AI Chatbot widget, the more opportunities for improvement I discover  Not a bad thing, really!

In this case, at your next convenient widget revision level, can you guys kindly add a “AI LANGUAGE MODEL” field to your widget’s settings as noted below?

It would add much-needed flexibility and transparency to your widget – as well as help us troubleshoot AI Chatbot answers based on the AI language model selected (or loaded into our account).

Thank you!

Hi there, @AeroConsultants :waving_hand:

Thanks for the idea! If this idea gets more votes, it might be considered in the future updates :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @Max,

Awesome! Until Elfsight incorporates the change, how do customers know what AI Model Language is loaded in their widget? How can we technically confirm that?

Thank you!

Thanks for bringing this up — that’s a fair question.

This info is available in the AI Chatbot knowledge base post (the very 1st question). If users are not able to find this, we’re always here to answer this question.

However, I see your point, and we’ll try to think about making it more transparent in the future :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @Max,

Yes, I read the documentation. The subject is still “In Progress” (since August 15, 2025). See below.

Can you provide an update (on the noted post)? What is the planned/scheduled date for releasing the feature, etc.?

Thank you!

Unfortunately, we don’t have the ETA for this request, but as soon as we have any news we’ll share an update :slightly_smiling_face:
