Counter pulling info from the submissions

I live in a Community of 250 homes which amounts to about 500 adults. I want to put on a Community-Wide Meeting/Picnic to express their concerns to our owners and my Association. But I need to know how many Neighbors will show up so I’m not standing their with only two people in front of me. I’ll be sending mail to all the homes, and I’ll want them to go to our website and let me know if they’ll be there.

Now, I can use a Form where their email response would come into my inbox, but it could get filled with hundreds of responses, and again every action from that point would be done manually. Here’s what I would like.

A counter where all they would need to do is put in the number of Neighbors from their family that would be attending, click submit, and the numbers of attendees would update right on the page so everyone can see how many will be there.

I don’t know if we have a widget that would need some custom code or what. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi @Trainerw

We have a Number Counter app with the option to fetch info from the external source.

I am not sure if it’s possible to pull info from the Form Builder widget, but I’ll discuss it with the devs and will get back to you a bit later :slightly_smiling_face:

Unfortunately, it’s impossible to implement your use case now. I am really sorry!

I’ve moved your idea to the Wishlist. If it gets more votes, we’ll try to consider this option in the future :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks anyway. I’m not sure a widget like this would be something many members would need to place on their website. I wouldn’t put it on the Wishlist.

Don’t worry, our Wishlist is filled with all sorts of requests. Who knows, perhaps some users will find it useful too :slightly_smiling_face:
