Close Popup after clicking on button that takes you to anchor on same page

I was quite buffled to find out that this is not supported by default.

So I have a one pager homepage and i want my customers to be navigated to an special anchor when they click on the button that says “Tothe menu”. Right now, they are navigated to it but the popup is still there and must be closed by clicking outside of it or via the close button. I want the popup to fade out once the user has clicked the button, being scrolled to the defined anchor in the process. This shouldn’t be too hard to develop or is there already something that i have overseen? Or maybe you can provide me a Custom JS snippet?

Thanks in advance!

Hello,

Thank you for adding your idea!

Unfortunately, the widget itself doesn’t have an option you described, however, there is an option to fulfil this use case using some extra code.

Please contact our support team, they will be happy to send you all the instructions :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you!
