Calculator Opt-in form issue

Hi,
I have embedded a health calculator on my Carrd.co landing page and I’m struggling with a small issue…

A user fills in their details in the form opt-in and then clicks the green submit button to be redirected to the URL. However, when they’re redirected, the opt-in form remains on the screen and doesn’t disappear (the user would have to click the ‘x’ in the top right corner to see the landing page’s contents).

Does anyone know why this is happening?

Hi,
I set it to “redirect to url” as I need the user to be taken to a second landing page. It’s on that second landing page that the pop up won’t disappear.

i’ve test it. OK. I understood.

The Calculator redirect to https://hwhtraining.com/#freetraining
Is this the same page, but are different sections being reloaded?
https://hwhtraining.com/#optincalculator

Try using a different URL, e.g., google.com, to see if the popup closes.

Yes that worked…the pop up closes with a different url such as google.com

is there anyway to keep the redirect URL to https://hwhtraining.com/#freetraining
and have the pop up close?
Because Carrd.co is a landing page software that only allows sections not seperate pages if that makes sense?

Wait until @Max is back online. Maybe the devs have an idea. I suspect it has something to do with the structure of the Landingpage. The diamond in the URL url/ # page

Or use a subdomain

There is also the possibility if you load the calculator in a popup widget

Yeah I’ve included a scrollpoint which is: #freetraining in the redirect URL. I’ll wait until @Max is back online and see what he says.
