Booking.com affiliate links

If the source link option was too limited, now it does not accept the link with AID+label, This option was possible before and this made it stand out from the elfsight competition, so I liked it a lot, now I see that it is not possible and this does not help many to use again,

Hello how are you? I am using the all-in-one reviews app, and I would like the booking.com affiliate aid to be placed in the url of the booking source, for example https://www.booking.com/hotel/uy/ cabanas-cucu.en.html?aid=7938332, I saw that this was supposedly solved here, but I can’t get it to take the url with the parameter, it removes everything that goes after the .html, it is possible to do this and be able to maintain that parameter?

Hi @user1161 and welcome to Community

I am really sorry about this inconvenience!

Our devs will be happy to check things for you. I see that you are using several All-in-One Reviews widgets with different Booking.com sources. Could you please send me all the affiliate links you’d like to add?

Hi Max, Cabanas Cucu, Piriápolis – Updated 2023 Prices is an example, the most important thing is that the url parameters can be kept after the .html: “?aid=7938332&label=clickwidgetelfsight” for example.

best regards
Nicolas

@user1161 Thank you!

Yes, I understand that the part after the .html is being removed now. And we’ll be happy to fix it!

You’ve sent me only one affiliate booking.com link. However, I see that you have several All-in-One widget with different booking com links ( Hotel Aquarella, Punta del Diablo – Precios actualizados 2023; Villa Juana Bungalows & Suites (Uruguay Punta del Diablo) - Booking.com; Hostal de la Candelaria, Punta del Este – Precios actualizados 2023). If these links are affiliate and the part after .html is being cropped as well, could you please send me full links?

in all cases it is the same pair of parameters to add at the end, but it would be in my interest to be able to do it directly for the next case. Is the solution that you are going to give me specific or general for the future?

A huge thank you!

We will fix it globally, but it can take some time.

As for now, we’ll fix this locally. I’ve forwarded your request to our devs. I’ll get back to you once I receive any news :slightly_smiling_face:

I’ll discuss the case with our devs once again.

They’ve told me that it would be better to release just a global fix. Hopefully, it will be done within a couple of days.

I’ll keep you in the loop here!

perfect!, I share the decision, I think it will be better and leave it solved globally, thanks for the attention, I wait for notice when it is available to modify the links.
kind regards

Hi Max, I’m having another couple of problems, All in one reviews are not displaying properly scaled when the “write a review” button is active and displaying horizontal scrolling due to that

and on the other hand, in this case https://apps.elfsight.com/panel/applications/all-in-one-reviews/edit/3d12af09-0867-4730-b618-27c94bc15823/
I am not able to load the airbnb reviews, I tried with
https://es.airbnb.com/rooms/51678873
and
https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/51678873
but it is taking a long time and in the end it does not load, could you check if I am doing something wrong?

thanks in advance again

Hi @user1161

Could you please send me a direct link to the website where scrolling issue occurs? I’ll be happy to check things for you!

As for the reviews not being collected, this type of link (https://es.airbnb.com/rooms/51678873) isn’t supported in our widget.

However, I’ve added https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/51678873 to your widget and it seems to be working fine.

Please check it and let me know how it works :slightly_smiling_face:
