Block choice options based on the value of another field

Hello,

I am wondering whether a choice field (with 4 checkboxes) inside a calculator can be affected by the input settings of a slider in a specific way, here’s an example:

If the slider input is set to “1” the only option that can be chosen is the first checkbox. The other 3 checkboxes need to be visible but their opacity should be around 0.7 (a little less visible).
When the slider input is set to “2” the only options that can be chosen are one of the first two checkboxes. The other 2 checkboxes need to be visible to the eye but their opacity should be around 0.7 (a little less visible).
When the slider input is set to “3” the options that can be chosen are one of the first three checkboxes. The last checkbox needs to be visible to the eye but their poacity should be around 0.7 (a little less visible).
When the slider input is set to “4” all options can be chosen.

I cannot get this to work in the basic (free) plan.
Or is there a way I’m not aware of?

IF not than does a paid plan give me the ability to set this up, because of it’s advanced customizations.

Hopefully someone can help me with this?

Thank you advance.

With kind regards,

Tim

Hi there, @Tim3 and welcome to the Community

You’re talking about the 2nd slider field, right?

If you’ve chosen 5 and more years in the Slider field, all choice should be available too, is that correct?

Also, do I get it right that the choice fields with the custom opacity must be impossible to choose?

Hello Max,

Thank you for the quick reply.

Yes, both correct.

Hi there, @Tim3

Thank you for waiting!

I’ve discussed your use case with the devs and, unfortunately, it’s impossible to implement it. I am really sorry!

However, this idea sounds interestings and I’ve moved it to the Wishlist. If more users support your request, it might be considered in the future :slightly_smiling_face:
