The Audio Player just got a new way to customize the listening experience — visitors can now adjust playback speed directly in the player ![]()
The new Playback Speed control is available in the player’s secondary controls panel, right after Repeat and Shuffle. Users can choose between 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, and 2x playback speeds, while the setting itself can be enabled from the configurator in the Player section on the Settings tab:

We’ve also improved the player layout to handle the growing number of controls better on smaller screens.
When there isn’t enough space for Repeat, Shuffle, Playback Speed, and Volume, these controls will now automatically collapse into a combined control.
First, Playback Speed and Volume are grouped together, and if more space is needed, Repeat and Shuffle join the group as well:
