It would be great if the icons could be opened and closed with a click.
For better understanding, I loaded a screencast from a website on YouTube: YouTube Video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oC3O9xp5yz0)

Hi Thorsten,
Thanks a lot for the idea and the details provided!
You know, I think such animation will be a great addition to our widget, and I believe we’ll be able to consider your suggestion for our future updates

Original comment from Thorsten Schulz transferred from the previous Wishlist portal:
Hello,
what is the current status?
Will this idea be implemented?
I think that the expansion of the function will not be very complex and time-consuming. But the function will make the widget much more valuable.
Best regards
Thorsten
Hello @Thorsten!
The functionality you’ve requested needs a separate and widget and we hope to create it this year.
As a custom workaround, you can try to use our Popup widget.
Hello Max,
Thank you for your feedback and your suggestion.
Unfortunately it’s not what I would like. I could create a menu with the slider, but I can also do that with the template. I would like to have social media icons as buttons with a button text that only slide in when a single icon is clicked. As shown in my sample video.
It would be great if you could do something like that.
Many thanks and best regards
Thorsten

@Thorsten I got your point, but I’m uncertain if we can implement such a use case.
However, there might be a possibility of developing something similar. I will keep you in the loop
