- Issue description: I am being asked to make the chat window on the chatbot moveable so that when a chat is going on, the user can move the chat window out of the way to be able to see the screen behind it. Is there a way to do that? I don’t need the icon to float but if necessary it’s ok. Right now the icon and bubble are in the lower right corner of the screen.

I am sorry, but it’s impossible to move the widget during the chat. I’ve moved this idea to the Wishlist and if it gets more votes, we’ll try to think about it in the future

I support this feature request.
It may not be easy to accomplish, but it’s definitely achievable. I’ve seen other chat widgets offer that option.
If and when implemented, the feature should allow users to reposition and resize the chatbox by “dragging” the edges of the chatbox window. This feature will definitley enhance our customers’/visitors’ experience!
Useful Tip (Implementation): To activate the feature, users (i.e., site visitors) will need to click the “expand” icon displayed in the chatbox. This is how other platforms do it.
Note: I would definitely classify this feature request as “nice to have”, but not essential. In short, low priority.

Would you also want the option to resize the chat window along with dragging it (Drag & Resize feature)? Is this something essential for you, just a nice-to-have, or not needed at all?
Any feedback or examples of how you’d use it would be super helpful
