Add new frequency

Awsome, Thank you so much for helping me out on that.

Can we add another feature please?

Is it possible when I get the email notification to copy the header of the card in the iFrame and paste in the email subject line?

Do you mean this image with the caption?

No, I mean the header of the card inside the iFrame on my website

Just to clear thing up:

  • If the user enters to the popup form a property address matching/partially matching one in the listing table headers, it should be pulled into the email subject. right?

  • If so, would it work for you as a workaround if the property address entered in the form was pulled into the email subject? I guess this option has a higher chance for implementation, but I’ll be happy to discuss both variants with the devs :slightly_smiling_face:

Typically, the user will not add the property address in the popup form.
I think if the property address is pulled to the form or the subject of the email that should work.

Thank you in advance

Ideally wnat I want to acheive is when the user clicks on the card inside the iFrame, the popup will show up and the property address will be populated inside the form.
When the user complete filling the form, I will get email notification with the user info and the property address he is looking at.
does that making sense to you now?

Yeah, I completely got what you’d like to achieve, but, unfortunately, it’s impossible to do this. I am sorry!

would that be acheivable if I use the rss feeds from elfsight instead of the current iFrame posting on my website?

Hi @backhome84

I’ll double-check it with the devs and will update you a bit later :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you for waiting!

It’s possible to do using the RSS Feed widget, but for this:

  • All listings in the RSS Feed should have the address displayed in the same format

  • You should create the same form as in your popup using the Form Builder widget. Once the Form Builder widget is created, remove the Form block from your Popup widget:

  • After that, add HTML block to the Popup widget, and insert the installation code of your Form Builder widget there:

Once these steps are done, please let me know and our devs will come up with a custom code for you :slightly_smiling_face:

I’m lost with that solution. which template I should start with using the Form Builder widget?

The Form Builder widget you’ll create will be displayed as a part of your Popup widget instead of the Form block in your popup.

Thus, you can choose any template and adjust it to your liking. If you want it to look like a Form block in your popup, choose Inline Vertical layout and add the needed fields there:

I still do not get it. that sounds complicated to me.
Please provide a video or detailed steps from the beginning

Sure, I’ve used the Small Contact Form template as an example. To sum things up, you should:

  1. Replicate the form from your Popup using the Form Builder widget

  2. Remove the Form block from your Popup widget

  3. Add HTML block to your Popup widget and insert the installation code of the created Form Builder widget there

This video features all the steps in action:

Check it out and let me know if it helped :slightly_smiling_face:

I followed your steps. Still do not understand how this work around will pull the property address when the user clicks on the address

That’s awesome :slightly_smiling_face:

As I mentioned above, these steps are just necessary for creating the custom code that will pull the property address to the popup form field:

I see that you’ve also set up the RSS Feed. To implement your use case, the RSS Feed widget, should be installed on your website.

Please let me know once it’s done and send me a link to the page where the RSS Feed widget is installed. After that, I’ll forward your request to the devs

Currently the elfsight rss feed widget allows only one web page implementation which does not help me to use it. if you add the flexibility to publish every feed on specific page that will help me a lot

Although the RSS Feed widget doesn’t have this option in the settings, I guess it’s still possible to install the widget to multiple pages and our devs will be happy to check it for you.

To do this, we need temporary access to your website’s backend: (login link, temporary login and password). Could you please send me this info in a private message (just click on my profile image and choose Message)?

Our devs will be happy to check if it’s possible to install the widget to multiple pages :slightly_smiling_face:
