Currently in portfolio project pop up, it only shows the link URL. These URLs can be ugly and long.
Please allow us to show a clickable CTA instead.
Each link is different for each project, so the universal CTA option is not an option.

Great idea, @Sal. Thanks for sharing!
We’ll have it in mind and see for more votes from other users.
In the meantime, could you please share a name of the Portfolio widget, where you’d like to implement it? I’ll be happy to check with the devs if there is a custom solution ![]()
I’d just like to add that the CTA for each project is different. Currently it only allows us to add one link which would apply across all projects. Each project has a different link. And now we can only show the ugly URL for the website for each project.
Yep, I completely get your idea! Could you just share a name of the Portfolio widget, where you’d like to add CTA buttons. I’ll discuss with the devs if if’s possible to write a custom script for your case ![]()
Thanks! And the final question, would you like to have the same or different button text for each project?
Ideally different.
Got it, thanks!
Unfortunately, there is no way to implement a custom solution. However, we’ll keep this idea in mind and if it becomes popular, we’ll try to consider it in the future ![]()
Is there a way to show text instead of the URL. As in allow us to enter the text like “Visit Website” and then add the URL so it’s clickable. It doesn’t have to be a button… just so we don’t show the URL, because sometimes they’re awful URLS with affiliate codes etc
Would it be fine for you if all projects will have the same “Visit Website” text, but links will be different?
Hmmm sometimes they won’t be websites, they’ll be profiles and downloads too. So that will cause even more of a problem. So really needs to be customizable text. Otherwise doesn’t solve anything.
Or can we add links in the detail text section. Like we can add to the description and like we can do here in this chat. We can highlight words we want to link.
We can do it with the description, but don’t want to show the link below the image before popup.
Then we don’t have to use the website link feature at all, because we can just add our desired link and desired words in the detail section.
Got you! I am sorry, but there is no way to display a custom text for each website now ![]()
