Widget that adds a video background to a section on Weebly

I use the Weebly platform to build websites, and I’ve noticed an issue that I’d like to explain.
When I open a new section to add content, I have the option to set a background video for that section. I can use videos provided by Weebly, or I can upload my own video.

The problem is that only Weebly’s built-in videos work properly on both desktop and mobile versions. If I upload my own video, it only plays on the desktop version—it doesn’t play or work on mobile devices.

It would be great to have a widget or script that allows us to use our own videos on Weebly.

Unfortunately, we don’t have an app to implement this use case now, and we can’t promise that it will be released. However, if this request gets more votes, we might think it over in the future :slightly_smiling_face:
