On integrations, add ‘Webhook’, allowing the user to add a URL and send the data as ‘POST’ with the data formatted as ‘JSON’. This is quite standard and ‘5 minutes to add’.
Don’t expect people to use Zapier. It is expensive. Since you will never add Sendinblue to the integration, at least add Webhook, and many web developers will be happy.
You see, since we get a lot of requests and the process of adding new integrations is not easy, we have to be picky and choose the most popular requests first.
If this request gets more votes, we’ll gladly consider Webhook integration in our future updates.
Thanks a lot for your interest and help, we are always happy to hear from you
Despite popularity of feature requests, webhooks and or API endpoints would definitely produce a hefty set of clients as developers would recommend your product to more end users, and that would outweigh end user votes. Many of your apps need some sort of webhook or api capabilities otherwise they are non dynamic stand alone units.
You guys are doing great work but this really needs to be significantly higher on the priority list. Your customers who are voting on what to build next don’t realize how much this would unlock things for them… And, the devs building Elfsight need to wake up and add webhook support. They should know how important this is
You see, we prioritize requests based on 2 main criteria: number of votes and their complexity. Based on these factors, we have a bunch of requests with even higher priority level and our devs are working on them now.
However, we do realize the clear benefits of the Webhook integration and see that it’s demanded in our community. Hopefully the devs will be able to consider this opportunity in the future and I’ll be posting here in case of any news
The Form widget is completely useless right now (and has always been). We are in 2025. Webhooks are a very serious requirement, not a fancy option. A development has to include Webhooks on day one. Postponing such an important feature is a terrible error. I don’t understand the difficulty of performming an HTTP connection to a URL with some data attached to it, I don’t get it. What does it take to implement? 10 minutes? You can get the code written with chatGPT in seconds… I don’t get it. I asked for this on October 2023! … 15 months ago! If this option is unavailable, it is because you have no interest and clearly don’t understand how important it is.
I don’t find the form widget useless at all. However, I wouldn’t use expensive services like Zapier either.
But if I can use a webhook to address my existing or preferred services and provide them with data, that would be an interesting thing.
Until now I wasn’t clear about what this idea could mean and I’ve now cast a vote for it.
You should describe your wish as well as possible. Give examples and promote them well in the community.
You’re right that we need to prioritize given the large number of requests on our Wishlist. We truly appreciate your ideas and suggestions — it’s great to see your input!
We’ve discussed this request with the dev team, and they’ve mentioned that they do have plans to explore the possibility of adding Webhooks to the Form Builder. Unfortunately, we don’t have any concrete updates yet, but we’re inclined to consider this idea. I’ll be happy to post here once I know more
Thank you so much for helping us with your upvotes and comments!
Adding in webhooks unlocks so much value for the forms widget. Automatic Conversion event tracking and automation based on raw data from form submissions open up endless possibilities that are not currently an option.
