You can upload GIFs using the Image option:
The widget also gives an option to embed YouTube videos, but I agree that it would be great to upload videos from your device. If this idea gets more votes, we’ll try to consider it in the future updates

Thanks for reaching out. I tried to upload GIF using the “image” option but it is not allowing me to upload since GIFs are also small videos with “mp4 extension”.
