Can the Date on the Event Calendar be turned off?

List courses without putting date and time on them. I just to just be able to display all the courses as a widget and it has the sign up button.
I have created a workaround for our usecase but think the Event Calendar could really benefit if this becomes an option as it opens doors to new ways of using it.
