I am writing to report a recent issue that has occurred with the sliders on our website. Previously, these sliders were functioning perfectly, but recently I’ve noticed a problem concerning the height. The images within the sliders are now appearing twice as high as before, which is affecting the layout and user experience of our site.
Could you please provide an update on when we can expect this issue to be resolved? It is crucial for the visual integrity and functionality of our website that these elements work as intended.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.
After the recent update, if you’re using the Height by Content setting and the content is image, the height is set to 90 vh by default.
To fix it, you can either set the Custom Height in the settings (screenshot) or use the code below in the Custom CSS field on the Settings tab of your widget’s settings:
Thank you for your response and the suggested solutions regarding the slider height issue on our website.
Unfortunately, despite trying out all the options provided—including setting a custom height and adding the custom CSS as advised—the issue persists. We even tested additional CSS code, but this required an extensive amount of unique CSS hooks and a deep dive into customization, which seemed like overkill and potentially risky with future updates to your slider tool.
The change to a default height of 90vh seems like it could be beneficial in some cases, but it has not worked out well for our specific needs. Additionally, attempting to adjust the height settings separately for desktop and mobile with custom pixel values did not resolve the issue either; the slider consistently adopted the mobile settings height.
After numerous attempts to rectify the issue without success, and considering the complexities introduced by extensive CSS modifications, we have decided to switch to a different slider tool. I appreciate your feedback and support during this process.
I completely understand your frustration and deeply apologize for this inconvenience!
If you could give us a second chance, we’d be more than happy to resolve this issue. Could you just send me the link to the page, where the Slider with this issue is installed?
