If I got you right, you are experiencing the issue with the WhatsApp Chat widget not working correctly on the Google Sites platform.

Due to the peculiarities of the Google Sites platform, all popup and floating elements of apps (including WhatsApp Chat) are not supported. They are being converted into iframe format, which causes incorrect displaying.

However, you’re totally free to change the widget’s position to custom in Settings → Position and then embed the widget to a certain spot on your website:
