I want people looking at my event to be able to share it on social media or via email to whatever with someone else, to invite a friend or recommend the event to people.

The Share button is already available in the event popup. It allows you to invite via Email or just copy a link to the page with the event:
Do you want to have the Share button on the event card or just add more options like share on social media?
I wanted it on the card, like a little sharrr icon but it’s ok

I agree that it would be a great enhancement. Let’s see if your idea catches on with the community, and perhaps it might make it to the list

The Share button is available in the event popup, but we agree that it would be also great to have it right on the event card.
