I would like to create a folder on a separate location(google photos, dropbox, apple), to host the photos that would feed the photo gallery to my site

You’d like the new photos added to the connected Google automatically to automatically show up in the widget, right?
If so, this idea is already on the Wishlist and you can upvote it here
